Let me introduce you to my new sitting area. The inspiration to create a sitting area with overhead cover provided by seedless producing grapes and passion fruits hit me sometime in the fall of 2019.
Since then, off and on I’ve been adding to this little slice of paradise just around the corner from home.
Earlier we, her and I were totally in the moment together. Me starting a new Kindle book I’ve previously downloaded. Her talking about how the bench she now sat on needed painting. How it lacked a colorful yet sunbrella fabric cushion.
Not that I was yet really into my book but, – my industrious partner is not one to linger long at idle moments. The second picture above now captures her true spirit. Industrious to the point of not letting her mind go idle for very long.
She is still pulling our weeds. And while I continue to sit; moved by her only once so she could pull more weeds; I now pen these words.
Pretty soon I’ll probably move on but, right now even though all is not yet right with the world; having an outdoor sitting area sure feels right.
“Sometimes, discomfort is very uncomfortable. Anybody can get occasionally tired of it, and then it can change fast, where it’s comfort that disturbs you.”
