Storm of the Decade

Just a short while ago Lucy and I were on a hike, a mere 26 miles away, overlooking Catalina Island. We are now the closest distance to the island – 26 miles. The storm of the decade I am told is coming; by now it has already pounded the San Fran bay area. LA is bracing for the worse, flooding, power outages expected.

My upper deck door is wide open, I’m still wearing my hiking t-shirt and am barefoot. Lucy is asleep, crashed out on the deck, following our hike, just a little while ago.  The sky is cloudy and becoming a rain filled threatening sky.  The outdoor shower was wonderful for me and dog.  (Video of Lucy acting tough)

Doesn’t get any better than this. Enjoy your day!
